I spent 18 years in the Metropolitan Police and resigned in 2005 to take up property investment full time. My last posting in the Police was as a detective constable serving on the North East London Murder squads, with research and intelligence cell work my speciality.

The buy to let boom in the UK was my main focus and during that time I built a small portfolio of UK properties, and coverted a shop with ancillary accomodation into two flats.Whilst these projects gave a decent return on investment made, I was searching for investment opportunities that would require the minimum of cash injection, for the maximum returns, and began to research the overseas markets.
